Hello! My name is Jeananne Sizemore, the creator of Art Whims. I am that person in Tacoma, Washington; the face behind the art. Below you can find out how Art Whims got started, what inspires me, and what Art Whims offers you, the customer.

Fresh out of college I was ready to try something new. For years I had been painting and creating, and it was now my opportunity to share that passion with the world! Inspired by my husband, color, and the environment, I worked to create products that I would use, wear, and decorate with. In August of 2008, the opening of Art Whims enabled me to share what I love and the stories behind my creations!

Some of my favorite creations are my Dishwasher Buddies! Inspired by the need for clearer communication in my kitchen regarding clean and dirty dishes, my husband suggested that we make ourselves some magnets to mark whether or not the dishes in the dishwasher were clean. Now with the help of the first set of Dishwasher Buddies I ever painted, my husband and I both know when the dishes are clean! We are even saving water because the dishwasher is only ran once per load! It is great!

Other products that I create include: Magnets, Laundry Basket Tags, Wearable Art such as Pins/Brooches, and Ornaments; Custom Orders are always welcome too!
